You can easily make a reservation for your customer via the POS. This function is particularly suitable for reserving tickets or vouchers if your customer isn't 100% certain about a purchase. With a reservation, you only block the seats for the customer. Payment is only due when you subsequently convert the reservation into a booking.
Why can't I make a reservation for a value voucher?
Since value vouchers are buyable in unlimited quantities, there is no need to reserve a voucher. Tickets for an appointment, on the other hand, are limited to a certain number.
Reservations for your customers can be made via the button + New booking.
1. Select type
Choose whether you want to reserve a ticket, a gift voucher, or a value voucher for your customer.
2. Choose an offer
Select the desired offer and, if applicable, date/time and price categories.
3. Enter buyer information
Optionally, you can request your customer's data and enter it in the fields provided.
4. Select shipping method
Select the desired shipping method.
The payment link is valid for 24 hours. If you choose Email and activate the payment link, the customer has 24 hours to pay for the reservation. If the payment is not completed within this time, a new reservation must be created.

5. Select the payment methods
In order to make a reservation, select "Reservation (payment later)" in the payment method.
6. Complete the reservation
The sales price is clearly displayed, including shipping costs, so that you can inform your customer of the price in advance.
Then click on the Make reservation button. Now the reservation, incl. the reservation number, will be generated.

Please be aware that when resources are connected to an offer, they will be blocked with a reservation!
Result
You can view the reservation like a booking in the Booking overview.
The booking status is set to Reservation, and the payment status to Open (Offline).

Note:
When making a reservation, the customer is not informed separately by email about the reservation or its details. Only when you convert the reservation into a booking will tickets be generated and sent if necessary.
For a real booking, we recommend making a booking instead of a reservation, because the reservation has some restrictions. For example, the reservation data cannot be found in the customer database or in the statistics export. Currently, the data of a reservation is transferred to the participant list; however, this function can be deactivated at any time.
