Integrating your shop using the shop domain
By default, the address of your Regiondo Shop is a Regiondo subdomain such as mycompany in mycompany.regiondo.com. However, you can map a subdomain of your own domain (such as shop.mycompany.com) to your default Regiondo address. You have two options regarding the use of your shop domain.
You'll find the settings for your shop domain in your Dashboard > Shop Configuration > Custom Domain
Set Shop Domain as Standard Domain
If you choose Standard Domain, you will not be able to edit the subdomain at all. Instead, the system will automatically set it up for you in all available languages. If you want a different domain name for your shop, use the option Custom Domain.
Set Shop Domain as a custom domain
Selecting custom domain as your option will require you to do the following steps:
1. Purchase and register a domain name with a domain registrar.
2. Make your domain an alias of your basic Regiondo address. You should add CNAME into your domain DNS configuration to point the desired domain (or subdomain) to our domain name (you will see an example in the table after adding a new entry).
3. Our IT team will check your domain status (DNS update could take up to 24 hours) and configure SSL certificates for you.
4. After all things are done, we will enable your configured domain mapping for your shop (current status displayed in the table).
