You can create and manage your merchandise items/add-ons under the menu heading Manage Add-ons.
Here, you have the option to search for existing products or to create a new product.

1.1 Creating a new merchandise product
First, click on +New Product
The first step is to determine the language in which the product will be displayed. If you wish to write the product description in German, choose "German".

The next step is to choose a product title.

To entice the customer to make a purchase, you must now create a product description that piques their interest. Tell the customer why the product would be a good accompaniment for a particular offer.

The next step is to determine the purchase conditions. These consist of the following:
- The gross price - in other words, the price that will be displayed to the customer as the purchase price
- The amount of VAT for the product
- The number of products available
- The shipping of the product
- The product's status: Active or inactive (the product is active when the switch is set to the right with a teal area showing)
Note
The price does not have to be bigger than 0! You can create a free product with a total gross price of 0 as well.
You can now choose whether the product will be subject to a shipping charge. Adjust the relevant settings by clicking on the switch in the "Shipping" column.
Here, you can set the shipping fee and the tax rate applied to this shipping fee.
Additionally, you can also click the wheel icon on the right to set up whether your merchandising products should be calculated automatically, based on the quantity of tickets bought, or you can enter a minimum / maximum yourself.
Note
Shipping/postage costs constitute an ancillary payment for the packaged and shipped product and are subject to the same rate of taxation.
An exception to this rule exists only if the packaging has a utility value in and of itself. This is typically the case with high-quality packaging materials.

The last step in creating your merchandise item or add-on is to upload a product image.
Important
Make sure you have the necessary rights to the picture. Aside from this, you can check our image guidelines to see what we recommend.

Upload at least one image for your product, making sure only to use images for which you own the necessary rights. Your images should be at least 1200 x 800px (3:2).
Reiterate the most important features and functions of your product in your image description.
Finally, click on Save to finish creating your merchandise item.

1.2 Assigning a merchandise item/add-on to an offer
Under the heading "Merchandising", you'll find the menu item "Cross-Selling Options", where you can assign add-ons to particular offers.

Choose the relevant offer from the drop-down menu.

As soon as you have clicked on an offer, you will be able to select the merchandise item you have just created. You'll also have the option to assign multiple add-ons to the same offer.

After you have checked the relevant product - in this case, the 360° camera - it will appear in the lower field. If you have assigned more than one product to the same offer, you can now determine the order in which they should be displayed.

Don't forget to save.
2. From the customer's point of view
To view your add-on from the customer's point of view, you must return to the offer overview page.
Note
Click here to go to the overview page for your offers.
Navigate to the offer where you stored your merchandise item and click on the preview button to view the offer from the customer's point of view.

Add the offer to your shopping basket to simulate a purchase. In Step 2, you'll have the option to select an add-on.

In this step, the customer can choose how many add-ons they wish to purchase, if any. The shipping and total costs will be displayed.

2.1 Your email notification
The customer can then complete the booking as usual. Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an email from the system informing you that an add-on has been purchased. The email will notify you that you need to dispatch the goods to the customer.
Note
The email will contain all necessary information about the customer in question.
2.2 Email to the customer
Once the booking process is complete, the customer will receive an email containing the billing information. The billing and shipping addresses will be displayed once more for checking purposes and for the avoidance of any misunderstandings.
Along with this email, the customer will receive their tickets for the offer and a purchase receipt for the add-on/merchandise product.

Important
The billing procedure for the item(s) will be carried out immediately at the point of purchase. There is no need for you to take any further action in this regard.
Standard fees apply
Please take into account that the merchandise products will also have their own fees as agreed upon the contract, just like the normal offers.
