You have the option to set different validity periods for vouchers. To do this, please go to "Manage Offers > Ticket validity"
1. Gift Voucher
If you do not enter a custom setting, the validity of a gift voucher is always one year from the date of purchase.
To update it, you can choose one of the 2 options below:
- The gift voucher expires x years after the purchase date
- The gift voucher expires at the end of the x calendar year from the purchase date
As per the law of the operator's country, you can set the expiration date accordingly.
Note
If you enter a 5 in the free field for "Value Vouchers Expiration Date", then each voucher is valid for 5 years from the date of purchase.
Example
If the voucher was purchased on 23.12.2018 it can be redeemed until 22.12.2023 23:59 by the customer.
Save your change by clicking "Save".
2. Value Voucher
If you do not enter a custom setting, the validity of a value voucher is always three years from the date of purchase.
To update it, you can choose the option below:
- The voucher expires at the end of the x calendar year from the purchase date
There is a system limitation here, as opposed to the gift vouchers. A feature request has also been created to extend it: [Value Voucher] Possibility to add validity starting from purchase date.
