Note
Due to the Corona virus, the requirement for the activity to take place, may be that all attendees belong to the same family or household. To ensure this, you can introduce a mandatory Custom question in your shopping process using the Waiver function and making sure the agreement of the customer to this pre-requisite will also be shown on the ticket.
The most important function of Regiondo is the ability to create an offer. To create an offer for a product, you need to describe and define it. The following tutorial describes how to create a product offer in your operator account and what you must look out for when doing so.
1. General information about creating an offer
When you create a new product offer, there are a few basic rules that can enhance its clarity, readability and success.
General notes:
- Do not copy any content from other web pages. Create unique texts and content for your customers.
- Don’t create an invitation to purchase; use factual, objective language.
- Do not use superlatives or hyperbole.
- Do not publish content that could be considered racist, sexual or blasphemous.
What to consider when choosing your language:
- Write in an informative, concise manner, making sure to answer all the questions the customer might have while booking.
- Write in a positive way to give a your customers a "good feeling". Do not use any negative formulations, as these might remain in the customer’s mind.
- Write an offer as if you were telling it to a friend. Be enthusiastic and capture your customer’s imagination.
- Write texts and content easy to understand - avoid technical terms and complicated issues.
- Avoid addressing the customer directly; instead, refer to them using words such as "Attendee" to ensure that the product offer maintains an objective and serious tone.
- Do not write from the "we perspective".
For the offer creation process, you should also keep the following formatting points in mind:
- Brands and proper names should be treated as regular nouns. This means, for example, that you should write Aldi instead of ALDI.
- Special characters should be used in a limited fashion. Ideally only once per offer.
- Numbers should generally be written as numbers and not as words, e.g. 1 day instead of a day.
- 4 digits numbers or more should be divided with a comma to make the number more easily legible to the customer. It is faster for a customer to read 1,000 than 1000.
- If you have questions regarding spelling, you are recommended to consult the Oxford Dictionary.
- Place names need to be written in English.
- Dates should always be written out completely, including the year. The month should also be written out, for example May 12th, 2017.
- Units should be abbreviated as usual. M = meter = kilometer km, sqm = square meter.
2. Where can I find the function "Create offer" in the user interface?
In Regiondo’s user interface, you’ll find a selection of menu items on the left-hand side. To create an offer, click on “Manage Offers > My Offers”, where you will find the button “+ New Offer”.
If you open the user interface on a mobile device, the navigation bar on the left-hand side may not appear. In this case, you can use the top left button -represented by 4 lines - to open the menu and proceed with offer creation.
3. How does the offer creation process work?
Once you've clicked on the “+ New Offer” button, a navigation bar will be shown on the left-hand side. This allows you to see the types of data you will need to create and inform the customer about a new offer.
3.1 Basic data
During the first step, you’ll be asked about basic information for the offer.
Important
You can save your offer any time during the process and finish editing it at a later time.
01 Input Text Language:
The first piece of information determines the language in which the offer will be published.
2 Title of the offer
The next piece of information is the offer title. The goal of the offer title is to capture the customer’s interest and give them a quick overview of what it’s about.
The title should be as specific as possible, containing the name and the location of the offer, e.g.: Offer Name (+ Type) + Location
If your offer consists of several units, such as a cooking class or a fitness course, you should also write them in the offer title.

Important:
The offer will be published in your distribution channels under the name you choose in this section.
The following explains how to create a new offer using a sightseeing tour in Angers, France, as an example.
You will also find an “Optional” field in which you can define the title to be used in your own ticket shop. If, for example, you only sell city tours in French-speaking countries, you can present the offer in your shop simply under the title of “Angers” instead of “Sightseeing tour- Angers”, because it is obvious that you are a city-tour operator.

03 Short description
The short description is to encourage the customer to purchase and to facilitate the comparability of offers.
The short description should contain the main selling point and additional information related to the title. Additional information can be the target audience, features or highlights.
Not to be included in the short description:

Note:
The insertion of content from your website is not allowed.
04 Highlights
Here, you can list the most important highlights and the main selling points of your offer.
It is worth mentioning the following:

- Awards
- Professional guides
- Location
You should not include the following in the "Highlights" section:
- Whole sentences
- Punctuation marks
- Calls to action
- Offer duration
- Online booking advantages and discounts
- Prerequisites
3.2 Details
In the second step, you explain the important details. You don't need to use full sentences here, but rather to present information in a way that can be remembered easily.
The more customers know what to expect from your offer, the higher the probability of a purchase. With a small advantage such as a casual reception with wine, you offer will stand out in a special way and be preferred by customers.
01 Add FAQs for customers
Here, you can select the various points for which you want to provide supplementary information for your offer. Checking a box either opens an input field or means that you affirm the statement next to the box.
Tip: If you need to interrupt the creation of an offer, always click on “Save and continue” before you close the window.

02 Languages
Here, you can choose the language(s) in which you wish to your offer to be provided. Multiple languages can be selected.
03 Detailed description of the offer
Here, you can describe all the important details of your offer so that no questions remain unanswered when it comes to the booking decision. Write objectively, using text, and add any external links.
Answer the following questions: where, what, who, when, how, why?
What will the customer get from the offer that they can't get anywhere else (i.e. identify your unique selling points)? And why exactly should they purchase this offer?
Make sure to keep it concise and to avoid copying any content from your website. Authenticity should always be preserved. This means that the description should not be exaggerated. Bolding some keywords and breaking up your text into paragraphs will simplify the flow and make it easier for the customer to get the information they need.
Information such as the route points of a tour, the order of menus or similar should be outlined in bullet points.

3.3 Tickets
First, you need to determine a price list. This means that a parent category for the ticket prices will be created. It’s possible to create different type of price lists - for example, price lists with seasonal rates, if different prices exist for summer and winter. You can also subdivide the price list according to the language of the activity, so long as several languages are offered in different time periods.
You can also set the maximum number of tickets available, if one exists.
You can also set the maximum number of tickets available, if one exists.
The next step is to define ticket categories. You might, for example, choose to differentiate between adults and children.
Further possible subdivisions:
- Discounted prices (pensioners, students, etc.)
- Different terms (3 hours and 5 hours)
- Different menu selection (vegetarian etc.)
You can then define your prices in more detail:
The original price is the strike through price for when a lower online price is defined.
The VAT will be set and you can choose whether this category is visible.
The price selected as "main price" should be the price you want to appear next to your product when it is advertised.
Be aware that if you decide to set the child price as the main price, the product will always appear alongside this price. This gives a misleading image to the customer, since this price might not be the one that is appropriate for them.
Important
When formulating the ticket categories, use the singular rather than the plural, e.g. “Adult” instead of “Adults”.
When creating a ticket category for vouchers make sure you have it active and available as time period in the next step also (Validity). Otherwise your offer will not be visible or bookable.
More settings can be defined for a ticket category when you click on the gear on the right side in edit mode. There, you can add a detailed description of your tickets, the validity of the ticket can be specified and the maximum quantity of tickets per customer per order can be set.
You can also specify the time period when the ticket will be available for sale.
You can also specify the time period when the ticket will be available for sale.
Note
It is not always possible or necessary to specify all advanced ticket information. Just fill in the fields for whichever points are relevant to you.
Note
The unit of offer duration can be changed. You can choose between minute, hour, day, night, week, month and year.
3.4 Validity
In this step, you can determine the validity of your offers.
Here, “validity” does not refer to the sale period, as in Step 3, but rather to the points below:
- Fixed opening hours: If no specific date is given for a ticket, opening hours should be entered here in order to let the customer know when it is it possible to redeem the ticket.
- Fix dates and times: If you have many specific dates with many times, you can set the same timeslots for every date.
- Recurring appointments/dates: When you perform a certain tour every Tuesday, for example
- Specific dates/appointments: This allows you to highlight a specific date e.g. the date of a concert or festival ticket.
Note
Here you can find a detailed explanation for setting validity.
Important
In this step, you can also add relevant school or company holidays so that these times are observed for recurring offers.
Also, you are able to to change the method of accepting a booking (manual, automatic or no appointment needed). For more information, read this article.
3.5 Location
01 Location details
Inform the customer where the offer is taking place.
The location name is the meeting point. In the example of “Sightseeing tour – Angers”, the meeting point is the stairs of Le Grand Théâtre.
For the street address, you can put either the exact address of the meeting point or one nearby, then manually pull the pin to the desired place or describe the way to the meeting place below.

02 Meeting point
Specify the "Accuracy of the location" you have chosen, i.e. whether you are meeting directly at the address provided in the previous step or whether it is just an approximate location.
If it is an approximation, you can now describe exactly how to get from the address to the location. If there are several ways to get to the meeting point, they should all be described separately - for example, the way from the parking facilities and from the closest subway station.
You can also inform the customer whether parking facilities exist and if so, where and whether there is an option or need to use public transport.
Note:

Note:
Use accurate information on the type of transport (the mean of transport, the line, the times etc.)
Important
After duplicating an offer, make sure you select and confirm the location at point 5. Location > Street address, otherwise it will not appear correctly on your site.
3.6 Pictures and video
In the last step, you have the option to attach pictures and videos to your offer. The recommended size for the images is 1200x800px. When selecting pictures, please use the Regiondo image guideline. You can also find this link in your Regiondo dashboard.
Uploading option:
- Uploading images: You can upload images to your offer. It is strongly recommended to add images to all your offers. First select a picture that conforms to the requirements, then add a description.
- Adding a PDF to the offer: If you have a menu or a similar PDF, you can upload it here.
Important:
Note that the PDF files and videos must not contain any contact information or addresses.
3. YouTube videos: You can add a link to a YouTube video associated with the product.
Note: Regiondo offers you the option to personalise your tickets, vouchers and gift certificates in line with your preferences and offers. Please use the PDF Editor. You can find this in your user interface under “Shop Configuration > PDF Editor”.
