The default time setting for holding a product in cart is 20 minutes. This applies by default to each product a customer puts in cart before the reservation is released. Now you can decide for yourself if and how long the reservation time lasts. The following tutorial describes how to change the registration time limit in cart.
How to change the reservation time?
In order to change the reservation time go to your Dashboard. You can find the feature in
Shop Configuration / Order Options. If the button Turn on cart reservation is activated you have the opportunity to configure your individual reservation time on product level. This can be done for each of your products separately.

Important
If the button Turn on cart reservation is not activated, the products in the cart of the customer are reserved for an unlimited period of time.
Note
If several products are added to the cart, including a product with reservation time, the registration time limit is displayed for all products. This also applies to products for which no reservation time has been set.
Note
If more than one product is added to the cart the timer shows the remaining time of the product that has less time left. When this product runs out of time, from that moment the time left of the next product is displayed.
What happens when the countdown timer has expired?
If the checkout is not completed within the time limit, the reservation will be released.
The customer will receive a notification, which informs him that he has to complete his purchase rapidly, as the stock can not be guaranteed anymore. Nevertheless, the customer can still complete his purchase if the stock has not been purchased by another customer.

If a customer does not complete the order process, these uncompleted bookings are displayed in your Dashboard. To view them go to Bookings / Pending Bookings.
