Important Update Regarding Jollydays Insolvency Proceedings
What’s Happening?
The Vienna Commercial Court has officially ordered insolvency proceedings to be opened against Jollydays GmbH. Unfortunately, as a consequence of this situation, Jollydays has terminated its cooperation with Regiondo.
Jollydays GmbH is now undergoing insolvency proceedings. As part of these proceedings, the redemption of vouchers through Jollydays is no longer possible. Additionally, any payouts that were expected from Jollydays may be affected by this development.
What Should You Do?
If you hold a voucher or are waiting for a payout from Jollydays, please note that direct contact with Jollydays may no longer be possible. The deadline to register claims is October 10, 2024. Requirements:
- If you are not an experience partner of Jollydays yet, you can sign up for registration here.
- The function is a partial integration, which means that not all data will be exchanged between the two systems. The data regarding availabilities and booking will be exchanged.
- The experience description (description, prices, pictures) has to be put in both systems once. As an experience partner you have to have an account for Regiondo and an account for Jollydays mandatory.
- Active product in both accounts. The exchanged of availabilities and booking data is only possible if the experience is put in both systems and if it is active in both systems.
- The Information and description fields are similar in both systems, but not exactly the same. The prices and services for the experience have to be same in both systems, they have to match.
Important:
Day tickets can’t be supported at the moment, so you can’t connect them to Jollydays.
How can I connect my offers?
Regiondo:
To connect your offers successfully all the following criteria have to be fulfilled:
Offer status = active
- Step 1 in the offer creation: the input text language is “Deutsch (Deutschland)” / “German (Germany)”
2. Step 3 “tickets”: the total capacity in the according price list is not unlimited
3. Step 4 “validity”: the option “Accept new booking automatically” is chosen
Important
This option is mandatory to connect your offers correctly. Offers with the option “Accept new booking manually” can’t be taken into account for this interface.
Jollydays:
- Experience offer (status) = active
- Price and service descriptions are equivalent to a category of the current price list in Regiondo
- You can see the point “Regiondo API” in the experience section in the menu item “settings”
Activation of the sales channel Jollydays in Regiondo
- Log into your dashboard. Go to channel manager and choose “sales channels”.
2. Go to the icon “edit” on the right site of the channel Jollydays.
3. Click on “active sales channel” to activate the sales channel
4. Choose all products you want to connect to Jollydays and save your settings.
5. Go to connectivity -> API configuration -> generate key. Copy the key and deposit it in your Jollydays account
Important!
Always copy the PUBLIC key and don’t share your safety key with anyone!
6. Log into your Jollydays account and go to “settings”. Now click on “Regiondo API”, “public key” and “edit”.
Here you put in your copied API key and save the settings.
The system is now checking, if the key is correct and if it’s successful it gets the product you selected in Regiondo before.
Note:
The basic settings are done with this step. From now on you have to follow the following steps for every offer.
7. Choose “settings”, “Regiondo API”, “mapping” and “edit” in your Jollydays account.
Afterwards you click on “add new connection”. Choose the Regiondo offer and the belonging category and click on “select” before you select the belonging Jollydays experience and click on “connect”.
After you read the notice, click on “continue”.
8. The next step is to check your availabilities in Jollydays. Go to “experiences” -> If everything is set up correctly you should see the according offer marked with “Regiondo” at the end of the title.
Click on “details” and see that “Regiondo” is stored as booking system.
When you click on “preview” now a new tab will be opened automatically with the experience detail page from the Jollydays shop.
The choice “buy experience ticket” will open a calendar. The availabilities will be checked in Regiondo in real-time. The appointments and free capacities should match the ones in Regiondo.
Booking cancelations in Regiondo:
If you need to cancel a booking please take the following steps:
- Go to “bookings” -> “bookings” in your Regiondo Dashboard.
2. Search for the booking number with the filter or the search field.
3. Open the concerned booking and click on “cancel booking”.
4. Write a message for the customer and select all the tickets that have to be canceled.
5. Click on “cancel booking”.
6. For the next step please always choose “money” and write the shown retail price from Regiondo in the adjustment fee field so that you can see a total of 0,00€.
This is necessary, because the reversal happens in the Jollydays system, so the customer has no claim for a refund via Regiondo.
7. As a last step click on “confirm the cancelation and the refund of 0,00€”.

Deactivation of value vouchers that were generated for cancelations:
If you accidentally selected “value voucher” as a refund method instead of money and forgot the adjustment fee, then follow the next steps to deactivation the value voucher:
In the section “ticket validation” you find the function “verify tickets and vouchers”.
If you click on this function, a search field will open. Write the value voucher code there.
You can see the relevant information for the value voucher now and a button “deactivate value voucher”. If you click on this button, the value voucher is deactivated and can’t be redeemed anymore.
