What’s new?

The beta version improves and modernizes the look and feel of Regiondo widgets that your customers use to book their tickets. After you sign up for the beta testing, you will be able to see the changes right away: just open your website, go to the ticketshop and choose a specific offer. Fresh and modern look

Enjoy the new sleek design of your widgets – your customers will definitely be delighted! We’ve improved the calendar color schemes and made available dates more evident, which will ultimately boost your conversion rates.

Display the number of tickets left

When your customers are choosing a timeslot for their experience in the calendar, they will be able to see the number of tickets left for each date. This new feature will help customers make their buying decisions faster. If an attendee can see that there are just a few tickets left, there’s more urgency to purchase because there’s a fear that you might miss out if someone else books those tickets first.

Improved accessibility for higher conversion rates

In the new version, we’ve greatly improved accessibility. For example, now your customers can have a complete overview while proceeding to checkout and switch between the registration steps as they please. Besides, we’ve improved the look of the fields and added a dynamic phone number code to make it easier for your visitors to enter their information.

If you are offering promotional codes, gifts or vouchers, your customers will be able to enter the code right during the checkout – no additional clicks needed.

Finally, we made it easier for visually impaired people who rely on assistive technologies like screen readers to experience our widgets. The new version is fully compatible with a variety of screen readers, making it easier for visitors of any background to book your activities online.

How to become a beta tester?

Important: The beta version of the Regiondo widgets can be unstable and have a few minor problems. We are encouraging you to share feedback about any bugs you find – your comments will help us improve the new booking widget.

Sign in to your Regiondo account and go to the Widget Editor.
At the top of the page, you will find the Beta Testing Invitation. Select “Try now” to activate the new Booking Widget. The switch to the beta version will be done automatically: you won’t lose any data or settings.

Please note

The beta testing program is only available for React widgets. If you are using iFrame, you first need to switch to React by replacing the current iFrame code integrated on your website with the new React code. If you are not able to do it on your own, contact our technical support team and let us know you would like to migrate. Our experts will be happy to help you.

How can I switch back to the previous version?

If you face some issues while using the beta version of the Regiondo widgets, you can quickly switch to the older stable version:

Sign in to your Regiondo account and go to the Widget Editor.
At the top of the page, you will find the option to return to the previous version. Click “Switch back”.
Share your feedback and describe the problems you’ve encountered and click “Switch to previous version”.

How to provide feedback?

We appreciate your feedback about the new version of our widgets. When you are reporting an issue, please provide a step-by-step description of your actions, screenshots or video captures – this will help us reproduce and troubleshoot the problem. Here are some examples of what you can report:

If something is not working properly
If something is missing as compared to the previous version
If you identify areas of improvements/new features that would help your daily business.

I signed up as a beta tester. Where can I see the changes that the new version brings?

After you sign up for the beta testing, you can see the changes right away: just open your website, go to the ticketshop and choose a specific offer. The changes can be found during the booking process in the catalog, product and booking widget. You can see some examples on the screenshots above.

What if I am using iFrame widgets?

As mentioned in this article, Regiondo no longer provides technical support for iFrame widgets, and on December 1, 2023, those widgets will come to an End-of-Life phase. Therefore, we strongly recommend all our customers to switch to React widget and enjoy a better booking experience. Here you can find the React Widget availability schedule:

Another advantage of React widget is the possibility to take advantage of this beta testing program, as it is not available for iFrame. First you need to switch to React by replacing the current iFrame code integrated on your website with the new React code.
