Google Things to Do makes it easy for travellers to find and book activities directly from Google Search and Google Maps. It gives travel and tourism professionals an easy way to get their business in front of millions of potential customers — and listing on it is free.

What it looks like for your customers
The Google Things to Do module appears in Google Search and Google Maps when Google detects a tourist attraction with tickets or experiences for sale. Customers tap through to your Regiondo booking site to complete the purchase.
Before you start
Make sure you have the following in place:
- A Google Business Profile. If you don't have one yet, see How to create a Google Business Profile.
- The "Products" feature deactivated in your Google Business Profile. Google recommends turning it off, otherwise the Things to Do module may not appear.
- Your company name and business address exactly as they appear on your Google Business Profile. You'll need to enter both in Regiondo, and they have to match.
Steps to do:
1. Match your company name
In the Regiondo Dashboard, go to Settings > Supplier Information and scroll to the Your Highlights section.
Enter your company name exactly as it appears on your Google Business Profile — including punctuation, spacing and any legal suffix. Save your changes.
2. Categorize your offers
Go to Dashboard > Channel Manager > Categories. Click the edit button on the right of each product you want to connect and select the appropriate category.
Only categorized offers can be sent to Google, so do this for every product you plan to list.
3. Add location details to each offer
Open each offer you want to connect and go to step 5 of the offer creation/edit flow. Complete all the Location details fields.
Two things matter here:
- Add the point of interest (POI) name in the Location name / meeting point field — for example, "Buckingham Palace Entrance". Google matches your offer to a place, so this field is what gets it surfaced.
- Check your image size. For anything that isn't an admission ticket, the offer needs an image of at least 300 × 300 pixels. Smaller images mean the product won't appear on Google at all.
4. Activate the Google Things to Do channel
Go to Dashboard > Channel Manager > Sales Channels and click Edit next to Google Things to Do.
- Click Activate Channel.
- In the Google Business Address field, enter the same address you use on your Google Business Profile.
- Select all the offers you want to send to Google.
- Click Save.
The channel status changes to Active and your selected offers are queued for upload.
Tips to improve your visibility
These aren't requirements, but they help Google match your offers to the right searches:
- Say in the offer description whether it's an admission ticket, a self-guided tour or a guided tour.
- Keep your POI names specific. A named entrance or landmark works better than a general area.
- Use the same wording for your attraction across Regiondo and your Google Business Profile.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take for my offers to appear?
Regiondo uploads your connected products several times a day, but Google doesn't guarantee a timeline — or that an experience will surface at all. It depends on whether your point of interest and business category meet the Google Things to Do requirements.
My offers still aren't appearing. What should I check?
Work through these in order:
- Your company name in Supplier Information matches your Google Business Profile exactly.
- The Google Business Address on the channel matches your profile.
- The "Products" feature is deactivated in your Google Business Profile.
- Each offer has a category, complete location details and a POI name.
- Non-admission products have an image of at least 300 × 300 pixels.
- Your business category qualifies under Google's requirements (linked above).
What does it cost?
Nothing extra. The module redirects traffic to your Regiondo booking site, so only your normal booking software fees apply.
