Whenever a customer books an offer that is not a reservation, a confirmation email is automatically sent. This email includes the ticket as a PDF attachment by default. However, this feature can be deactivated, if needed.
To disable ticket attachments, go to Messages > Notifications, select the relevant e-mail template, and click the edit (pen) icon. Under the Send tickets toggle, you can switch this option off.
If you deactivate this setting, customers will still receive the Booking Confirmation email and the Sales Receipt, but no PDF tickets will be included.
When and why should this function be used?
Disabling ticket attachments can be useful in scenarios where a booking includes a large number of tickets. For example, if a customer purchases 100 tickets or more, the resulting email attachment can become very large and may cause delivery issues or inconvenience for the recipient.
By deactivating this option, the confirmation email will be sent without the ticket attachments, resulting in a smaller and more manageable email.
Note: Tickets are still generated during the checkout process, and the invoice will continue to be sent as usual.
