How to set up a Boca printer and print tickets

You can use a Boca printer and print tickets on-site with Regiondo.
After purchasing and loading ticket stock into your printer, connect your Boca printer to your computer using a USB cable. Then go to the "POS configuration" tab and turn on your Boca printer in "Printer configuration".
 
Hardware requirements

- Standard Boca Lemur printer
- Tickets width: 8.00'', Ticket height: 3.25''
- Windows PC (Windows 10) and Google Chrome Browser

 

1. Set up your printer

 1.1. Load ticket stock into the printer

Load the paper ticket stock into the rear of the printer. Feed the first ticket until you feel resistance.

1.2. Turn on the printer

1.3. Connect your computer to the Boca Lemur printer

Go to the Printer control panel

A) Right-click on Boca BIDI FGL 26/46 200 DPI.

1.4. Set up your browser to use the Boca Printer by default

Note:
For now, Boca Printer is optimized for use in a Chrome browser (Chrome 31 and higher). 
Other browsers can be used, but might not support automatic printing(silent printing)
 

1.4.1. Close all open Chrome windows
1.4.2. Open Chrome
1.4.3. Press Ctrl+P to open "Print Preview"

1.4.6 Close your Google Chrome browser
 

1.5. Set up silent printing in Chrome

A) Search for the Google Chrome icon on your desktop

B) Right-click on the Chrome shortcut

C) Select "Properties"
Edit "Target" field --kiosk-printing

Add the following parameters
to the end of "Target" field:

 --kiosk-printing https://regiondo.de

Pay attention that there is a space between
chrome.exe"and--kiosk-printing
as a result, your target field looks like:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --kiosk-printing https://regiondo.de

2. Enable the Boca Printer in your Regiondo Dashboard

 

2.1. Log in to your Dashboard.

2.2. Go to "POS Configuration".

From your "Dashboard", click on the "POS configuration" tab.

2.3. Select "Printer configuration" and select the Boca printer.

Select BOCA Lemur and press "Save".
 

3. To print tickets using your Boca Printer

Go to "Bookings > Add Booking" and place an order.
Enable the checkbox "Print Tickets (BOCA Lemur)" before placing your order.

After clicking the button "Place Order," your tickets will automatically be printed on your Boca printer.
 
Note:
You will automatically be redirected to the "Add booking" page after your tickets have been printed.
From there, you can:
- Place a new order
- Print your tickets again (if you experienced a problem with your printer)
- Navigate to the order page
