The most important function of Regiondo is creating an offer. To do this, you need to clearly describe and define your product. This tutorial explains how to set up a product offer in your operator account and highlights the key points to keep in mind.
Writing and formatting guidelines
When you create a new product offer, a few basic rules can enhance its clarity, readability and success.
General notes
- Do not copy any content from other web pages. Create unique texts and content for your customers.
- Don't create an invitation to purchase; use factual, objective language.
- Do not use superlatives or hyperbole.
- Do not publish content that could be considered racist, sexual or blasphemous.
What to consider when choosing your language
- Write in an informative, concise manner, and answer all the questions the customer might have while booking.
- Write in a positive way to give your customers a good feeling. Avoid negative formulations, as these might remain in the customer's mind.
- Write the offer as if you were telling it to a friend. Be enthusiastic and capture your customer's imagination.
- Keep texts and content easy to understand: avoid technical terms and complicated issues.
- Avoid addressing the customer directly. Instead, refer to them with words such as Attendee, so the offer keeps an objective and serious tone.
- Do not write from the we perspective.
Formatting points
Keep the following formatting points in mind during the offer creation process:
- Treat brands and proper names as regular nouns. For example, write Aldi instead of ALDI.
- Use special characters in a limited fashion, ideally only once per offer.
- Generally write numbers as numbers rather than words, e.g. 1 day instead of a day.
- Divide numbers with 4 or more digits with a comma to make them easier for the customer to read. It is faster for a customer to read 1,000 than 1000.
- For questions about spelling, consulting the Oxford Dictionary is recommended.
- Write place names in English.
- Always write dates out completely, including the year, and write out the month, for example October 24th, 2026.
- Abbreviate units as usual: m = meter, km = kilometer, sqm = square meter.
Offer Setup
In your Regiondo Dashboard, navigate to Manage Offers > My Offers and click the + New Offer button.
On a mobile device, the left navigation bar may not appear. In this case, use the top-left button (represented by 4 lines) to open the menu and proceed with offer creation.
Fill in all seven sections on the left side with the required information to create a complete and relevant offer for the customer:
1. Basic Data
This section covers the basic information about your offer.
Note: You can save your offer at any time and finish editing it later.
1.1. Input text language
Your offer will be published in this language.
1.2. Title of the Offer
A good title captures the customer's interest and gives a quick overview of the offer. Make it as specific as possible, including the name and location: Offer Name (+ Type) + Location.
If the offer consists of several units, such as a cooking class or a fitness course, mention them in the title as well.
Important: Your offer will appear in your distribution channels under this title.
Optional: Ticketshop Title - Use the "Optional" field to set a different title for your own ticket shop. For example, if you only sell city tours in France, "Paris" is enough instead of "Sightseeing tour – Paris", since it's clear you run city tours.
This field only applies if you use your own ticket shop as a distribution channel, and you can leave it empty.
1.3. Short description
The short description should encourage customers to purchase and make your offer easy to compare with others. Include the main selling point plus extra details related to the title, such as the target audience, features or highlights.
Leave out:
- Requests
- Advantages for online bookers
- Duration
Note: Inserting content from your website is not allowed.
1.4. Highlights
Add the most important highlights and main selling points of your offer.
Worth mentioning:
- Use of special / high-quality products
- Unique service
- Awards
- Professional guides
- Location
Do not include:
- Whole sentences
- Punctuation marks
- Calls to action
- Offer duration
- Online booking advantages and discounts
- Prerequisites
2. Details
This section covers the details customers need to know. Full sentences aren't necessary; present the information so it's easy to remember.
The more customers know what to expect, the more likely they are to purchase. A small extra, such as a casual reception with wine, makes your offer stand out and helps customers choose it.
2.1. Add FAQs for customers
Select the points you want to give extra information on. Checking a box either opens an input field or confirms the statement next to it.
Tip: If you need to interrupt the offer creation, always click Save and continue before closing the window.
2.2. Select the languages
Choose the language(s) in which your offer will be provided. You can select more than one.
2.3. Detailed description of offers
Describe all the important details of your offer, so no questions remain unanswered when customers decide to book. Write objectively, in text form, and add any external links.
Answer these questions: where, what, who, when, how and why? What will customers get from this offer that they can't get anywhere else (your unique selling points)? And why exactly should they purchase it?
Keep it concise and don't copy content from your website. Stay authentic, without exaggerating. Bold a few keywords and break the text into paragraphs, so customers can follow it easily and find what they need.
Use bullet points for the route points of a tour, the order of menus and similar content.
3. Tickets
3.1. Create a price list
A price list is the parent category for your ticket prices. You can create different types, for example seasonal price lists if prices differ between summer and winter. Price lists can also be split by activity language, as long as the languages are offered in different time periods.
If ticket numbers are limited, set the maximum number available.
3.2. Define ticket categories
For example, separate adults and children. Other possible categories:
- Discounted prices (pensioners, students, etc.)
- Different terms (3 hours and 5 hours)
- Different menu selection (vegetarian, etc.)
Important:
Name each category in the singular, e.g. "Adult" instead of "Adults".
If you create a ticket category for vouchers, make sure it is active and also available as a time period in the Validity section. Otherwise, your offer will not be visible or bookable.
3.3. Set the prices
- Original price: the strikethrough price, shown when you define a lower online price.
- VAT: set the VAT for the category.
- Visibility: choose whether the category is visible.
- Main price: the price displayed next to your product when it is advertised.
Be aware that if you set the child price as the main price, the product will always appear with it. This misleads customers, since that price may not apply to them.
3.4. Optional: set advanced ticket settings
In edit mode, click the gear on the right of a ticket category. There, you can:
- Add a detailed description of your tickets
- Specify the ticket's validity
- Set the maximum quantity of tickets per customer per order
- Specify the time period when the ticket is available for sale
- Change the unit of the offer duration to minute, hour, day, night, week, month or year.
Note:
It is not always possible or necessary to fill in all advanced ticket information. Complete only the fields relevant to you.
4. Validity
Validity defines when the offer can be used, not the sale period set in Tickets. For a detailed explanation, see How to set the validity?
4.1. Choose the validity type
- Fixed / set opening hours: if a ticket has no specific date, enter the opening hours so customers know when they can redeem it.
- Recurring appointments / dates: for example, a tour you run every Tuesday.
- Specific dates / appointments: highlight a specific date, e.g. a concert or festival.
Important: Specific dates/appointments and Recurring appointments/dates are mutually exclusive for the same offer. If you have already added single dates, the time period option is not available — delete the existing specific dates first to switch the offer to a recurring time.
4.2. Optional: add holidays
Add relevant school or company holidays so they are observed for recurring offers.
4.3. Change the booking acceptance method
Choose between manual, automatic or no appointment needed. For more information, see How can I change the method of accepting a booking?
5. Location
This section tells customers where the offer takes place.
5.1. Location details
5.1.1. Location name / meeting point
The location name is the meeting point. For example, for a sightseeing tour in Paris, it could be the Louvre Pyramid.
5.1.2. Street address
Enter the exact address of the meeting point or a nearby one. Then drag the pin to the right place on the map, or describe the way to the meeting point below.
Note: If you duplicate an existing offer instead of creating one from scratch, select and confirm the street address, otherwise the location won't appear correctly on your site.
5.2. Meeting point
5.2.1. Select one option:
- Exact (customers should come to this place): customers meet directly at the street address
- Approximation (an exact address is not available): the address is only approximate. Describe how to reach the meeting point.
5.2.2. Additional information about the meeting/departure point
If you select Approximation, use Additional information about the meeting/departure point to explain exactly how to get there from the address. Describe each route separately, for example from the parking facilities and from the nearest subway station.
5.2.3. Optional: add parking details
Tick Parking spaces are available if there is parking, and describe where it is.
5.2.4. Optional: add public transport details
Tick Which are the nearest train stations or bus stops? and say whether customers can or need to use public transport.
Note: Give accurate transport details: the means of transport, the line, the times, etc.
6. Pictures and videos
This section lets you attach pictures and videos to your offer. The recommended image size is 1200x800px. When selecting pictures, follow the Regiondo image guideline, which you can also find in your Regiondo dashboard.
6.1. Photos
Adding images to all your offers is strongly recommended. Select a picture that meets the requirements, then add a description.
6.2. Offer PDF
If you have a menu or a similar PDF, upload it here.
6.3. YouTube videos
Add a link to a YouTube video associated with the product.
Important: PDF files and videos must not contain any contact information or addresses.
Note: You can personalize your tickets, vouchers and gift certificates to match your preferences and offers. Use the PDF Editor, which you'll find under Shop Configuration > PDF Editor.
7. Preview
This section shows an overview of your offer, with all the information you have entered. Go through your data again and make sure you haven't forgotten anything or made any mistakes, as the formatting may have changed.
In this section, you can:
Use the dropdowns to choose what is displayed first: the available dates, the price lists or the quantity.
Switch on Gift option, Highlight gift option tab and Always show gift option.
When you're satisfied with your offer, click Submit Product at the top right.
