To receive payouts from Regiondo, you need your own Stripe Connect account and you must complete Stripe's verification. Payouts are not released until verification is complete. Once it is, Stripe transfers your earnings to your bank account automatically every week.
The number of steps depends on your account type:
| Account type | Steps to complete |
|---|---|
| Operator | 1. Terms & Conditions and business verification 2. Bank account 3. Legal information |
| Partner | 1. Terms & Conditions and business verification 2. Bank account |
Your Stripe Connect account reflects the conditions you signed in your contract with Regiondo, and is subject to Stripe's support for your country and currency. Once the account is active, you can use all payment methods offered by Stripe as your payment gateway.
Note Some steps in Stripe's verification flow are only available in English. Translations for these steps are available in your Regiondo dashboard.
Before you start
Have the following ready:
- A government-issued ID — passport, identity card, or driver's license.
- Your bank account details — IBAN and account holder name. The country and currency are taken from your registration details and cannot be changed.
- Your company registration number, if you are registering as a company. The name of this number differs by country:
Country Name of the number Germany Commercial registry number France Numéro SIREN Italy RI/REA number Luxembourg RCS number
- Proof of address, if Stripe requests it.
Legal relationship - As stated in Regiondo's Terms and Services, you enter into an Agreement with Stripe directly. To process PSD2-compliant payments, you must route your payments through Stripe and accept Stripe Connect.
How long verification takes
Stripe needs up to 3 working days to review your documents after you upload them.
While the review is in progress, an orange banner stays visible in your Regiondo dashboard. The banner disappears once Stripe confirms the documents are valid.
For details on the documents Stripe asks for to confirm a business address, see Stripe's own guide: Verifying your business address.
1. Verify an Operator account
1.1. Accept the Terms & Conditions and verify your business
-
In your Regiondo Dashboard, open the Stripe verification link in the alert banner.
-
Read the introduction, then click Get started.
-
Choose your type of entity: Individual or Company.
-
If you selected Company, fill in your Business details. The business address is pre-filled from the operator details you provided at registration. Enter your company registration number for your country (see the table above).
If you selected Individual, skip this form and continue to the personal details form. -
Fill in your Personal details: legal name, contact information, and home address. Your home address is pre-filled with your country of registration; you can change it using the drop-down.
-
Answer the two ownership questions:
- Do you own 25% or more of the company? Tick the box only if you do.
- Are you the only person who owns 25% or more? If other partners also own 25% or more, select No. A Business Ownership form appears where you add each additional owner.
-
Review the verification summary. Here you can edit your business details and update management and ownership. You can only continue to ID verification once every requested detail is complete.
-
Click Start on the ID verification step, then choose one of the three accepted document types: passport, identity card, or driver's license.
-
Upload a photo of your document. You can take a photo, upload a file, or drag and drop a file.
-
You are returned to your Business details page for a final check. Correct anything that is wrong, then click Done.
You are redirected to your Regiondo dashboard, where you can continue with next step.
1.2. Add your bank account
-
In your Regiondo dashboard, open the link in the Bank Account section and enter the Account Holder Name and IBAN. Country and currency are pre-filled from your registration details and cannot be changed.
- Save and submit the information.
1.3. Complete the legal information
-
In your Regiondo dashboard, open the legal information verification link.
-
On the Stripe form, check your business details against the verification summary, provide your ID, and finish the registration.
Your Operator account is now fully set up. You will receive weekly payments directly to your bank account.
2. Verify a Partner account
A Partner account has two steps instead of three: there is no separate legal information step.
2.1. Accept the Terms & Conditions and verify your business
-
In your Partner dashboard, open the Stripe verification link.
-
Complete the same sequence described in Step 1.1: business details, personal details, ownership, verification summary, ID verification, and confirmation.
The only difference is the Business ownership form, which asks whether any individual owns 25% or more of the company, rather than asking about you specifically.
2.2. Add your bank account
Follow the same steps as in Step 1.2. Country and Currency cannot be changed.
This step is mandatory. You will not receive payments until it is complete.
3. Provide additional information when Stripe requests it
Banks occasionally require extra information about an account. When this happens, Stripe asks you to supply additional verification details before it can continue processing your payments.
3.1. Open the update link
In your Operator dashboard, open the Stripe verification link. Stripe then sends you an invitation to complete the additional information.
3.2. Confirm your home address
Fill in every field relating to your home address.
3.3. Upload your proof of address
Stripe requires a document showing your full name and home address. A utility bill or a bank statement both work.
The document must meet all of the following requirements:
- Dated within the last 6 months.
- Different from the document you used to prove your identity.
- Complete and uncropped — partial or cropped documents are rejected.
3.4. Confirm management and ownership
Provide the requested additional information about your company's management and ownership, then click Done. The verification process is complete.
