Overview
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Regiondo account by requiring both your password and a verification code.
This ensures that only authorized users can access sensitive information.
Who can use this feature?
Available for all Operator and Partner accounts on the Regiondo platform.
Verification codes are sent via SMS to your registered phone number.
Why use 2FA?
Enhanced security: Protects against unauthorized access.
Peace of mind: Adds a safeguard beyond your password.
Enabling 2FA
1. Log in to your Regiondo account.
2. Navigate to Settings ▸ Account Settings ▸ Security.
3. Under Two-Factor Authentication, select Enable.
4. Enter your phone number and click Save.
5. Enter your account password and click Send Verification Code.
6. Check your phone for the SMS with the code.
7. Enter the verification code and click Verify.
8. Once verified, your Phone Verification Status will show Verified.
9. Save your changes.
Disabling 2FA
1. Go to Account Settings ▸ Security.
2. Under Two-Factor Authentication, select Disabled.
3. Click Save.
Recovery & Resetting 2FA
⚠️ If you lose access to your phone:
1. Contact Regiondo Support immediately.
2. Support will verify your identity and disable 2FA for your account.
3. After reset, log in and re-enable 2FA under Account Settings ▸ Security.
💡 Best Practices
1. Always keep your phone number up to date.
2. Never share verification codes with anyone.
3. If you change devices, update your number immediately.
⚠️ Troubleshooting
Not receiving codes? → Check your phone number is correct and able to receive SMS.
Locked out? → Contact Regiondo Support for recovery.
⚠️ Note: Multi-User Access to Settings ▸ Account Settings must be turned on in order to enable or disable MFA. If you don't have access to Settings ▸ Account Settings, please contact your admin.
