Regiondo offers a range of payment options to suit your customers' needs. You can turn them on or off yourself in your Regiondo Dashboard > Shop configuration > Payment options. The options you enable appear on your site during checkout.
1. Supported payment options
Regiondo supports the following payment methods:
Warning: Not every payment option is always available. Availability depends on the product, the country, the selected currency, the kind of booking, the pre-booking time, and the underwriting of your customer. Payment options can change at any time.
2. Turn payment options on
- Go to Shop configuration > Payment options.
- Tick the box for each payment option you want to offer.
- Save your settings. The payment options you ticked now appear on your site during checkout.
3. Accept offline payments
Yes, you can accept offline payments. To set them up, see Payment via offline booking (POS).
Before you do, consider what this means for you:
- Fees: You're charged the Regiondo fee on orders paid with offline payment methods, as specified in your contract.
- Tickets: The customer receives a ticket at checkout.
- Collecting payment: You're responsible for following up with the customer to collect payment.
- Reporting: Income not collected via Regiondo isn't included in your earning summary.
Note: PayPal is an online payment method, but because it isn't processed through Stripe, it's treated as an offline payment. You manage PayPal payments through your own PayPal business account.
4. Use your own payment service provider
Regiondo recommends using the Regiondo Payment Gateway. You can use your own payment service provider instead, but you'll need to program your own checkout in your booking process using the Regiondo API.
For details, see Get started with the API.
5. Recommendations
- Offer several kinds of online payment options to reduce your bounce rate.
- Use PayPal or Credit Card to make sure the transfer is safe.
