Overview
Apple Pay and Google Pay are now available as additional payment options in Regiondo! These digital wallets allow your customers to pay quickly and securely using the cards saved in their Apple or Google accounts.
Offering these payment methods helps you:
- Increase trust and conversion at checkout.
- Offer a faster, more mobile-friendly experience.
- Simplify payments for returning customers.
Both payment methods are available to all Regiondo users but are disabled by default. You can easily enable them in your Regiondo dashboard.

How to Enable Apple Pay & Google Pay
You can activate the new payment methods directly in your Regiondo account:

- Follow the in-app walkthrough, which guides you step by step.

Your customers will now see Apple Pay and Google Pay next to other payment options such as credit card or PayPal. They can freely choose their preferred payment method — no wallet option is required or preselected.
Apple Pay Whitelisting (Your Website Domains)
What “Whitelisting” Means
Whitelisting is a security requirement from Apple. It ensures Apple Pay only appears on verified and trusted websites where payments are allowed.
How It Works in Regiondo
- Regiondo automatically whitelists its own domains (the Ticketshops).
- If you use embedded Regiondo widgets on your own website, you must manually add your website domains.
- You can whitelist up to 15 domains in total.
When and Where Wallets Are Displayed
Both payment methods appear in the same checkout step as your other payment options.
- Apple Pay appears on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS in the Safari browser when the customer has an active Apple Wallet.
- Google Pay appears in Chrome or on Android devices with Google Wallet configured.
- Wallet buttons are automatically hidden if the device or browser doesn’t support them.
- Checkout flow remains unchanged — no express checkout or one-click purchase options.
- ❌ Apple & Google Pay is not supported by Firefox.
Known Display Behavior (for Widgets Only)
If your customers use a device or browser that supports both Apple Pay and Google Pay, both buttons may appear at the bottom of the checkout after selecting one of them.
This is a known technical limitation. It does not affect payments or usability. We’re working on improving this visual detail in future updates.
If this behavior causes confusion for your customers, please contact Regiondo Support — we’d love your feedback!
