Before proceeding, make sure the connection is already active, as described in the article: How to connect to GetYourGuide.
Connecting Group Tickets to GetYourGuide
Integrating the Private/Group tour feature into your offerings on GetYourGuide enhances your visibility and caters to specific customer preferences. This guide provides a straightforward process for establishing this connection.
1. Setting Up Group Tickets in the Offer
For all group tours, one ticket is issued for the entire group. As a result, each booking reduces the total capacity of a timeslot by 1, regardless of the group size.
To avoid setup issues, we recommend creating a simple product setup with only one ticket category per price list, as group tours can only be connected to a single ticket category.
In the example below, the capacity per timeslot is limited to 10. The quantity of the ticket category should also be set to 10.
2. Mapping Group Tickets in Channel Manager
2.1. In your Regiondo account, go to Channel Manager > Sales Channels and search for GetYourGuide. Then click to edit the group product that you want to connect.
2.2. Select the availability type Group. Then choose the corresponding Regiondo ticket category for the group option you want to connect.
2.3. Enter the minimum and maximum group size, then select Time point as the Product type.
In this example, setting the capacity to 10 means that you can host up to 10 groups per timeslot, with each group consisting of up to 9 participants.
If you can host only one group per timeslot, you must set both the price list capacity and the ticket category quantity to 1.
In summary, the price list capacity determines how many groups can be booked per timeslot.
2.4. Save your settings.
