Before proceeding, make sure the connection is already active, as described in the article: How to connect to Viator?
Group tickets allow you to sell an entire vehicle, boat, or group at a single price instead of charging per person. This article explains how to configure a group ticket product in Viator and Regiondo.
To create group tickets, use Viator's Setting up Per Vehicle/Group (Unit) Pricing feature.
A note on terminology: what Viator calls a unit is called a category in Regiondo.
1. Setting up the product in Viator
1.1. Log in to your Viator supplier management center and create a new product.
1.2. In the Schedule & Pricing section, select the option Per vehicle/group.
1.3. Define the maximum travellers per booking. This determines how many people can book at the price you set.
Note: Once you choose a pricing type in Viator, it cannot be changed later.
2. Setting up the product in Regiondo
2.1. Log in to your Regiondo account and go to Manage offers > My offers.
2.2. Select the product you want to set up as a group ticket and navigate to Step 3 of the product creation.
2.3. Make sure that the total capacity and the quantity of the ticket category are set to 1.
2.4. Go to Channel manager > Sales channels and open the Viator sales channel.
2.5. Select the product you want to map as a group ticket and choose Yes at the Group Option.
2.6. For Unit, select the ticket category that should be mapped to Viator.
2.7. Enter the maximum group size in the max. Travellers field. This value must match the maximum travellers per booking you set up in Viator.
Example: If you set the maximum capacity for the price list and the maximum quantity for the ticket category to 1, and define max. Travellers as 15, only one group can book this activity for a specific timeslot, and that group can consist of a maximum of 15 people.
Good to know: The Unit setting applies to Viator only. On all other sales channels, the same product continues to be sold as a regular product.
