Overview
This article covers questions and issues that come up after the GetYourGuide integration is connected. For prerequisites, requirements, and the full setup process (activating the channel, mapping offers, and mapping products), see How to connect to GetYourGuide.
1. Frequently Asked Questions
1.1. Which actions for a GetYourGuide booking can't I handle in Regiondo?
The following actions are not supported from Regiondo and must be handled in the GetYourGuide platform:
Cancel a booking
Change or modify a booking
Message the customer
Refund a booking
1.2. If a customer cancels on GetYourGuide, does the cancellation update in Regiondo?
Yes. Cancellations made in GetYourGuide sync back to Regiondo automatically, so the booking and the freed-up availability are updated on the Regiondo side without any action from you. (The reverse is not supported — you cannot cancel a GetYourGuide booking from within Regiondo.)
1.3. Can I keep selling the same product on my other channels while it's connected to GetYourGuide?
Yes. Regiondo manages your availability centrally, so a product connected to GetYourGuide can stay available on your other sales channels at the same time. Availability is kept in sync in real time across your channels, which is what helps prevent overbooking.
2. Troubleshooting
2.1. My offer isn't showing on GetYourGuide
Check that:
- The GetYourGuide Sales Channel is activated in Regiondo.
- The offer has been mapped — an offer will not appear on GetYourGuide until it is mapped.
- The Tour ID and Tour Option ID are entered correctly.
- The product already exists in your GetYourGuide account.
(See the setup article for how to complete each of these.)
2.2. Bookings or availability aren't syncing as expected
Confirm that the connection requirements from the setup article are met — in particular, automatic booking acceptance is enabled and your cut-off times are configured correctly — and that every Regiondo ticket category is mapped to a GetYourGuide category.
2.3. Capacity on GetYourGuide looks lower than expected
This is expected if you mapped multiple GetYourGuide options to a single Regiondo offer: availability is calculated from the lowest ticket quantity across the categories. See the note on mapping multiple options in the setup article.
2.4. I can't cancel or change a GetYourGuide booking in Regiondo
This is expected behavior. Cancellations, modifications, and refunds for GetYourGuide bookings are handled in the GetYourGuide platform (see the FAQ above).
